Bio (Long Version)

I studied Image and Sound Design at the University of Buenos Aires (FADU).
My creative journey began early —at 15, I directed a short documentary that won Best Documentary at a high-school film festival. Around that time, I started photographing my friends and portraits, exploring light, color, and narrative —a curiosity that would later shape my visual language. While studying, I began working as a fashion and portrait photographer, publishing in magazines such as Reflex, Dmag, Las Rosas, and Vogue.

This period allowed me to experiment with fast-paced ideas and develop a personal aesthetic defined by closed color palettes and a minimalist freshness, elements that remain central to my visual identity today. By 20, I was collaborating with mentors in audiovisual direction —including Federico Suárez (Cualca!), Benjamín Ávila (Clandestine Childhood), Brian Kazez (Pantera), Milton Kremer, Gabriel Stagnaro (Okupas, The Eternaut), and Andy Fogwill (Landia)— experiences that profoundly shaped my sense of rhythm, storytelling, and composition. In 2011, I began my commercial career directing a Coca-Cola campaign for McCann Erickson alongside Andy Fogwill, marking my first experience in large-scale production.

Over the following years, I continued developing projects not only as a photographer and video director but also as a creative director.

In 2015, I founded Waleco Creative Agency, focused on cultural projects and brand identities.
The same year, the studio received the Incuba Prize and was selected among 150 projects out of 6,000 worldwide to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 at Stanford University, Silicon Valley —an event attended by President Barack Obama, alongside innovators such as Mark Zuckerberg, Satya Nadella, and Travis Kalanick.
That entrepreneurial period allowed me to expand my understanding of creative direction, team leadership, and cultural communication. In parallel, I founded Yarará, an audiovisual production company dedicated to music-driven and conceptual projects.

During that stage, I directed live sessions for KEXP Seattle and developed 360° campaigns and visual identities for various artists —an experience that deepened my connection to the Latin American music scene and to storytelling through sound and image. In 2022, I received the BAMV Fest Prisma Award for Best Direction and several Premios Gardel nominations, recognizing my ongoing work in music and visual storytelling.

Today, I work as an independent creative and film director, collaborating with artists, brands, agencies, and studios around the world —continuing a path that began with a camera, a few close friends, and a constant fascination for the stories hidden within images.
