About the project

These portraits are part of the broader visual system created for Viva la Devolución! — a project where every element, from the visualizers to the press photos, follows the same conceptual pulse.
The photo session was designed as a portrait of the contemporary self in a cyber world: suspended between vulnerability and performance, between overstimulation and the quiet urge to reconnect.
The aesthetic merges artifice and sincerity. Rather than showing a public figure, we aimed to capture an artist looking inward amid the noise. Each gesture on camera —a look, a pause, a hint of exaggeration— reflects on what it means to be visible in an age of constant display. These photos don’t portray the musician, but the person who appears when the noise fades.

About the artist

Benito Cerati moves through his career with a sensitivity that transcends labels.
His presence blends elegance, irony, and an uncommon calm within the pop landscape.
The son of Gustavo Cerati —one of the most influential figures in Latin American rock and former frontman of Soda Stereo—, Benito grew up understanding that music and image can speak the same language.
In this chapter, with Viva la Devolución!, he appears more self-aware than ever: an artist who treats image as an extension of thought rather than ornament.
