Live Session Direction
About the project
I directed Las Ligas Menores’ live session for KEXP. The performance captures the band’s raw, understated energy — a perfect balance between melancholy and drive with the afternoon sun and the past of time.
Each session was designed to highlight the emotional depth and sonic identity of Argentine indie music — honest, unfiltered, and resonant.
Using the CCK’s iconic architecture as a living set, we focused on translating their sound into movement and atmosphere: sun light goes down, constant evolution and movement, and presence.
It’s not just a concert; it’s some kind of portrait? of my city's culture — a snapshot of what Argentine indie rock feels like in that time.
In 2022, I collaborated with KEXP, the world-renowned Seattle-based independent radio station, to direct two live sessions in Buenos Aires as part of KEXP Live from Argentina.
The series connected global audiences with the local indie scene, featuring Amor Elefante and Las Ligas Menores.
