About the project
I collaborated with Marilina Bertoldi and Luli Shapochnik to co-direct the video for Fumar de Día, the second single from her album Prender un Fuego.
The clip was filmed in intimate spaces — her home, her movements, small gestures — showing her in daily life: changing clothes, opening a nearly empty fridge, dancing, smoking, tracking the lines of her own lyrics.
It’s a visual diary that mirrors the song’s intimacy: a daytime ritual, a conversation with the self, mundane acts elevated to symbolic gestures.

About the artist
Marilina Bertoldi is one of Argentina’s most powerful and transformative voices in contemporary rock.
With Prender un Fuego, she not only redefined her own sound — she redefined the role of women and queer artists in Latin rock.
The album won the 2019 Gardel de Oro, the most prestigious music award in Argentina, and the Gardel for Best Female Rock Album, and was also nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Rock Album.
Her work blends vulnerability with intensity, using rock not as a genre but as a language of self-expression.
Fumar de Día captures that essence — everyday gestures turned into quiet acts of resistance and freedom.
