KEXP's El sonido "Cancioneros"
Brand Identity
About the project
KEXP invited me to create the visual identity and digital campaign for El Sonido: Cancioneros, their first Spanish-language podcast.
The challenge was to translate the richness and diversity of Latin American music into a cohesive and emotionally resonant visual system.
The result blends design, rhythm, and warmth — a series of vertical animated pieces that capture the intimacy of the interviews, turning the voices of artists like Mon Laferte, Santiago Motorizado, Silvana Estrada, Trueno, and Ana Tijoux into living visuals.

About the client
Founded in 1972 and based in Seattle, KEXP (90.3 FM) is a nonprofit arts organization and public radio station dedicated to music discovery.
Beyond radio, it has become a global visual platform — its live sessions and digital performances reach millions of viewers and shape how new music is seen and heard worldwide.
El Sonido: Cancioneros extends that legacy into Spanish for the first time, amplifying the stories behind Latin American songwriters.
The visual identity was designed to echo the podcast’s essence: memory as sound, storytelling as rhythm.
Each animation combines texture, color, and movement to create a poetic, emotional dimension — transforming voices into visuals and music into memory.
